Audi Q7 facelift production kicks off in India

The new Audi Q7 is likely to be offered with a 3.0-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine.

Production of the updated Audi Q7 has commenced at the VW Group's Aurangabad facility. The SUV is slated for launch soon.

As part of the facelift, the Q7 gets an octagonal grille with a chrome frame. The grille is flanked by new headlights with redesigned LED daytime running lights.

At the rear, the Q7 gets new taillights, a chrome bar running the width of the car and a new dual-tone rear bumper. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.

The updated Q7 comes equipped with a flat-bottom steering wheel and two touchscreens on the center console. The SUV also gets four-zone automatic climate control, power-assist doors, Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System and an air quality package.

The new Audi Q7 is likely to be offered with a 3.0-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine producing 335 BHP and 500 Nm. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
