Australia: Mitsubishi phases out Pajero with Final Edition

The last batch of 800 units is being offered in Australia as the "Final Edition" to mark the end of production.

The production of the iconic Mitsubishi Pajero has finally ended after a 40-year run. The last batch of 800 units is being offered in Australia as the "Final Edition" to mark the end of production.

The Pajero Final Edition comes with special badging and a larger fuel tank, besides additional standard features.

The SUV is powered by a 3.2-litre diesel engine that makes 190 BHP and 441 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and a rather capable four-wheel-drive system.

In 2019, Mitsubishi had introduced a similar Final Edition in Japan, where production was limited to 700 units.
