Auto Expo 2023: Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG revealed

Rumours suggest that the Brezza CNG could get the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki took the wraps off the Brezza CNG at the Auto Expo 2023.

The CNG version of the Brezza has been in the news since 2021. The car was seen in flesh for the first time at the Auto Expo.

On the outside, the Brezza CNG looks identical to the petrol version. The display car was finished in a matte blue paint job with piano black trim and dual-tone alloy wheels. It had no CNG badges anywhere on the body. The CNG tank is mounted in the boot.

The Brezza CNG is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine calibrated to run on CNG. When running on petrol, this engine produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm, however, on CNG, the overall output is expected to drop slightly.
