B Govindarajan appointed as CEO of Royal Enfield

Govindarajan led the development of the Himalayan, Meteor and Classic 350 as well as the 650 Twins.

Eicher Motors has appointed B Govindarajan as the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield. He will also serve as the Wholetime Director of the Board of Eicher Motors Limited.

Govindarajan has been with Eicher Motors for more than 23 years. Prior to his recent appointment as CEO, he served as the Executive Director of Royal Enfield. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of the motorcycle brand since 2013.

Govindarajan played a key role in the development of the Himalayan, Continental GT 650 and Interceptor INT 650 and the recent J-platform based Meteor and Classic 350 models.
