Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG prices slashed by Rs 5,000

Bajaj had announced a price cut of up to Rs 10,000 in December last year.

Bajaj Auto has reduced the prices of the Freedom 125 CNG bike by Rs 5,000. The bike is now available at a starting price of Rs 85,976 (ex-showroom). The drum LED variant costs Rs 95,981, while the disc LED variant is now priced at Rs 1.11 lakh.

This is not the first time that Bajaj has slashed the prices of the Freedom 125 CNG. The bike maker had announced a price cut of up to Rs 10,000 in December last year.

The Freedom 125 is the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle. It uses a 125cc single-cylinder engine that produces 9.4 BHP and 9.7 Nm. The bike is equipped with a 2-litre CNG cylinder and can cover 102 km on a single kg of CNG.

The Freedom 125 comes with a telescopic front fork and mono-shock at the rear. The top variant has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, while the lower variants have drum brakes at both ends.
