Bajaj Pulsar 180 available with 3 new two-tone colour options

Bajaj Auto has launched three new dual-tone colour options for the Pulsar 180. The new colours are Sapphire Blue, Pearl Metallic White and Cocktail Wine Red.

Mechanically, there are no changes to the Pulsar 180. It continues with the same 178.6 cc, single -cylinder, DTS-I engine that develops 17.02 PS @ 8500 rpm and 14.22 Nm of torque @ 6500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a 5-speed gearbox. A single 260 mm disc and a 130 mm drum on the front and rear wheels respectively, provide stopping power for the bike. Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and twin nitrox shock absorbers at the rear.

With the colour updates, the company is attempting to push up the sales of the Pulsar 180 before a facelifted Pulsar, which is based on the 200 NS, makes its appearance. The facelift will feature a monoshock rear suspension, new headlamp and clip-on handlebars, respectively. An increase in power and torque is also expected.
