Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS to be called RS200

Bajaj Auto has released a couple of teaser images suggesting that it will be launching a new motorcycle in its Pulsar range in the near future. The bike will be called Pulsar RS200. Going by the image, it is likely to be the same bike that has been known as the Pulsar 200 SS.

The Pulsar RS200 shares its platform with the Pulsar 200 NS. It has a full fairing with twin projector headlamps, daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and an underbelly exhaust.

The Pulsar RS200 is likely to be powered by the same engine as the 200 NS - a 199.5 cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, single cylinder that puts out 23.52 PS @ 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque @ 8000 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is likely to sport disc brakes on both wheels and an ABS unit might be provided as well. Suspension duties will be taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.

More details on the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 are awaited.
