Bangalore : Lamborghini Gallardo with fake plates seized

According to a media report, a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo has been seized by cops in Bangalore. The car's registration number - MH02BM9000 doesn't turn up on the Vahan portal.

It is reported that the cops were on the look out for the car since the past month after receiving a tip. It is said that the car used to be spotted in the western part of the city at night. The cops spotted the car outside a garage where it was left by the owner for repairs. The officials, then reached out to the owner for relevant documents. The car was seized after the documents turned out to be fake.

The Mumbai RTO confirmed that this car's data wasn't available with them. The Bangalore cops then tracked the car’s origin to New Delhi, where it was first registered back in 2008 with a different registration number. The Lamborghini is currently at the RTO.
