Brihanmumbai Electrical Supply & Transport (BEST) has inducted 21-seat / 7-standee Force Travellers for short haul trips and last-mile connectivity. The buses will be operated by Shri Krupa Services Private Limited under the wetleasing model.

An order for 400 such buses, including AC and non-AC versions has been placed with Force Motors. The first of these have arrived in Mumbai and are expected to be operational by end of the month. It is claimed that the small size (7m length) along with the lower passenger capacity will help it while traversing across narrow roads as well as achieve faster turn around time.

The Force Traveller is a monocoque panel van that is claimed to have low NVH, high structural rigidity and improved ride quality. It also undergoes Cathodic Electrophoretic Dip (C.E.D) process of primer application, where the whole body is dipped in primer and a robotic topcoat application.
