Bihar to Delhi by road: Driving my 5th-gen Honda City after 16 months!

The route included the Purvanchal Expressway, Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Yamuna Expressway.

The Honda City was not being used by me for well over a year and a half. It was with my brother in Gaya, Bihar.

Over the last 15-16 months, he had hardly driven it for 2500kms. He was getting posted out to a field posting, so he told me to come pick up the car.

Visited the mountain pass carved by Padma Awardee Dashrath Manjhi. Also visited the newly built Nalanda University, an amazing campus to say the least.

The drive back was roughly 1124 kms.

We decided to start at 0600 hrs and reach Delhi the same day.

Route was Gaya to Buxar. From there onto the Purvanchal Expressway till Lucknow. Then Lucknow Expressway till Agra, onto the Yamuna Expressway till Noida and then Delhi.

Reached Delhi at around 10:30.

Drove the City after almost 16 months, still drives sublimely!
