BMW CE 02 electric scooter to be launched on October 1

The BMW CE 02 e-scooter will be manufactured at TVS' Hosur plant.

BMW Motorrad is all set to launch the CE 02 electric scooter in India on October 1. Bookings have already commenced.

The CE 02 has a futuristic design with minimal bodywork. It features an LED headlamp, a single-piece flat seat, and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument console. 

The BMW CE 02 is powered by a pair of 2 kWh lithium-ion batteries paired with a 15 BHP electric motor. The e-scooter has a top speed of 95 km/h and can travel up to 90 km on a single charge. BMW also offers a single battery version with a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 45 km.

The scooter is equipped with a USD fork at the front and monoshock at the rear. It rides on 14-inch wheels, while stopping power is provided by disc brakes.
