BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR launched from Rs. 9.90 lakh

BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 R and F 900 XR in India. The F 900 R is priced at Rs. 9.90 lakh. The F 900 XR is available in two variants Standard and Pro priced at Rs. 10.50 lakh and Rs. 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The F 900 R is naked roadster. It comes with an LED headlamp and a digital instrument cluster. The bike has a flat seat and single side-mounted exhaust.

The F 900 XR is an adventure tourer. It has a taller ride height, stepped seat and offers an upright riding position. The bike has twin headlamps and a windscreen.

Both bikes are powered by an 895cc, twin-cylinder engine that produces 105 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 92 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. Both bikes come with upside down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear and have twin disc brakes at the front and a single rear disc brake.

Other features include Rain and Road modes and optional Pro mode, automatic stability control, ABS, drag torque control, traction control as well as optional ABS Pro and dynamic brake control. Electronic suspension adjustment is also an optional feature.
