BMW i4 M50 leaks ahead of global debut

The BMW i4 M50 is expected to be positioned at the top of the i4 range.

Earlier this year, BMW took the wraps off the i4 sedan. It's an all-electric version of the 4 Series Gran Coupe. Now, a high-performance version of the EV has leaked online.

Like the new 4 Series, the i4 M50 gets a large kidney grille featuring the M badge and a more aggressive-looking front bumper. BMW has also given it a sporty set of alloy wheels.

The regular BMW i4 is powered by an electric motor that has an output of 523 BHP. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in around 4 seconds. The i4 M50 is likely to pack more performance. It might also receive a few tweaks on the chassis side.

The BMW i4 M50 is expected to be positioned at the top of the i4 range. It will make its global debut on June 1, 2021.
