BMW M340i 50 Jahre M Edition launched in India

Nine more 50 Jahre Editions based on cars like the 5 Series, 6 Series, M4, M5 and SUVs are in the pipeline.

BMW has launched the M340 50 Jahre M Edition at a price of Rs. 68.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The M340i 50 Jahre Edition celebrates 50 years of BMW’s M Performance division. It will be followed by nine more 50 Jahre Editions based on cars like the 5 Series, 6 Series, M4, M5 and SUV models.

The M340i 50 Jahre Edition comes with a high-gloss black kidney grille, black ORVMs and 19-inch M alloy wheels. Customers can choose from two accessories packs. These include the Motorsport Pack, which comes with an M Performance steering wheel, Alcantara gear selector, and matte black rear spoiler among others. The Carbon Pack adds carbon exterior and interior bits.

Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo, 6-cylinder engine that makes 377 BHP and 500 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

The M340i 50 Jahre Edition is available in two BMW Individual colour options: Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue.
