BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition launched in India

The M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 617 BHP and 750 Nm.

BMW has announced the launch of the M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition in India with a price tag of Rs 1.80 crore (ex-showroom).

The BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition is offered in an exclusive shade of 'Aventurine Red' with the 50 Jahre M emblem. The car gets a kidney grille with M-specific double bars, gloss black elements like the mesh on the M gills, ORVMs and the rear spoiler. The M compound brakes are paired with calipers painted in gloss red, while the M Sport exhaust system gets Black Chrome quad exhaust tips.

Inside, the special edition M5 comes with Aragon Brown Merino leather upholstery, M multi-function seats with an illuminated ‘M5’ logo, M seat belts, M footrest and pedals, M leather steering wheel, heated seats and a carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) sunroof.

The M5 Competition also gets soft-close doors and an automatic boot lid. The car rides on M-specific suspension and 20-inch Jet Black alloy wheels

Powering the M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 617 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm @ 1,800-5,860 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
