BMW R18 Roctane & R12 nine T revealed

Both R18 Roctane and 2023 R nine T are expected to be introduced in India at a later stage.

BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off the R18 Roctane and R12 nine T in the international market. Both bikes are expected to be introduced in India at a later stage.

The R18 Roctane is a bagger-style classic cruiser based on the R18. The bike is finished in an all-black colour scheme and comes equipped with 27-litre panniers, a single-piece stepped seat and raised handlebars.

Powering the R18 Roctane is a 1,802cc, 2-cylinder, air-cooled boxer engine that makes 90 BHP @ 4,750 rpm and 158 Nm @ 3,000 rpm. It is the same engine that powers the standard R18 cruiser.

BMW has also updated the R12 nine T roadster. The bike gets several minor changes. The instrument console and exhaust are also said to have been updated.

The R nine T is powered by a 1,170cc, 2-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 108 BHP @ 7,520 rpm and 119 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. Mechanical changes made to the 2022 R nine T, if any, are yet to be announced.
