An image of the upcoming BMW X3 facelift has been leaked online. The image is reported to have appeared briefly on BMW's official product page.

The X3 is likely to get minor updates to the front fascia. It could get a slightly redesigned grille and revised bumpers. It also appears to be equipped with new LED headlamps. In the image, the SUV is seen in a new shade of green. The fact that it has M-specific alloy wheels and brakes with blue callipers suggests that it could be the X3 M.

The third-generation X3 is based on the CLAR (Cluster Architecture) platform. In India, the SUV is available with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 248 BHP and 350 Nm as well as a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 188 BHP and 400 Nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The X3 M is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 473 BHP and 600 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
