Bookings for Kawasaki Ninja H2 are open

Kawasaki dealerships in India have started accepting bookings for the Ninja H2 motorcycle. The booking amount has been set at Rs. 10 lakh and the bike has a price tag of Rs. 32 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Kawasaki revealed the Ninja H2 at the 2014 EICMA motor show last month. It is powered by a 998 cc, in-line 4-cylinder, supercharged engine that develops 197.3 bhp @ 11000 rpm and 113.5 Nm of torque @ 10500 rpm. The superbike is also available with an optional ram air intake system that hikes the power to 207.1 bhp. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheel through a chain drive system.

The Ninja comes with dual 330 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 250 mm disc brake at the rear. Safety features include the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM), Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS) and engine brake control.

Bookings are open only for the next two days. The first batch will consist of just five bikes, out of which, four have been already booked. The first batch of H2s will be delivered by March 2015. For those, who miss out, bookings will reopen at a later date, but Kawasaki has not set any timeline for the delivery.
