Bookings for Suzuki Let's commence

Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited has opened booking for the Let's scooter. Customers can book the 110 cc scooter at the company's dealerships by paying an amount of Rs. 1,000. The Let's is likely to be priced in the region of Rs. 47,000 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The company had unveiled the Let's at the 2014 Auto Expo which was held earlier this year. It is powered by a 112.8 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 8.7 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 9NM of torque @ 5500 rpm. The bike comes with a CVT transmission.  Suzuki has equipped the Let's with a technology called Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP), which combined with a kerb weight of just 98 kg, helps the bike achieve a claimed fuel economy of 63 kpl.

The Let's gets a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike rides on steel wheels shod with tubeless tyres. Braking power is provided by drum brakes all round.

Deliveries of the Let's are expected to commence from the first week of May.
