Brought home an Ola S1 e-scooter: 9 quick observations post delivery

The motor feels powerful and throttle respnse is aggressive in Sports mode.

Ola S1 Porcelain White. Manufactured in Dec 2022:

• Financing/Loan - No.
• Insurance- Acko.
• Extended warranty- Yes.
• Amount Paid - Rs. 1,21,838.

From booking to delivery entire journey was virtual/online. No complaints on either booking, delivery or paperwork.

Quick observations:

• Uneven, ugly panel gaps.
• Non-intuitive rubbery switches.
• Powerful motor, aggressive throttle response in Sports mode.
• Annoying system sounds.
• True range claim of 128KM is with 1 rider weighing <= 70KG , on eco mode with speed 30-40KMPH.
• Big under-seat storage.
• Motor makes weird sound on rapid acceleration.
• Braking and overall ride quality is satisfactory.
• Accessories like side step , centre stand still unavailable.
