Bugatti unveils its final one-off Chiron Profilee hypercar

The Bugatti Chiron Profilee will be put up for auction by RM Southeby's on February 1, 2023, with the proceeds set to go to charity.

Bugatti has taken the wraps off its latest one-off hypercar, the Chiron Profilee.

The new Profilee is said to have been in development since 2020 and is meant to be a less radical version of the Chiron Pur Sport. Bugatti had initially planned a limited production run for the Profilee, similar to all other iterations of the hypercar. However, with all of Chiron's 500 slots accounted for, Bugatti decided to introduce it as a One-off model instead.

Although based on the Pur Sport, the Bugatti Chiron Profilee comes with a number of design changes which help differentiate the two hypercars. The Profilee comes with a larger front grille and wider air intakes. The large rear wing is now replaced with a sleeker fixed wing. Also, the one-off hypercar features a newly-designed set of wheels, along with a unique paint finish of Argent Atlantique with blue-tinted exposed carbon fibre on the lower section. Inside, the Profilee gets woven leather upholstery on the seats, doors and dashboard - a first for any Chiron.

Mechanically, the Bugatti Chiron Profilee is mostly identical to the Pur Sport. The one-off model gets the same quad-turbo W16 engine producing 1479 BHP, with a claimed 0 - 100 km/h time of 2.3 seconds and a 0 - 200 km/h time of 5.5 seconds. The top speed on the Profilee, however, has been increased to 380 km/h compared to the Pur Sport's 350 km/h. The Profilee also gets the Pur Sport's stiffer springs, greater negative camber and shorter gear ratios, providing improved handling compared to other Chiron iterations.

The Bugatti Chiron Profilee will be put up for auction by RM Southeby's on February 1, 2023, with the proceeds set to go to charity.
