Bulletproof kits for Scorpio available on Snapdeal

Online shopping website, snapdeal.com has tied up with leading utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra for the sale of bulletproof kits for the Scorpio SUV.

Developed by Defence Land Systems, the kits consist of bulletproof panels, anti-explosion material kit for the fuel tank, set of bulletproof glasses and vehicle tracking device. The kit is designed to withstand a 9 mm pistol attack.

The total price of this kit is Rs. 12,66,738. An amount of Rs. 75,000 has to be paid for booking the kit on the website, while the balance Rs. 11,91,738 lakh has to be paid to the seller. The amount includes delivery charges, fitment of the kit at a company workshop, and all applicable taxes. The kit is being sold with free one-year insurance for the bulletproof materials and a two-year warranty.
