Carlos Sainz Jr. will be replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari from the 2025 season.

Carlos Sainz Jr will be moving to the Williams F1 team for the 2025 season. Ahead of the upcoming season though, Ferrari gave a special farewell for the Spaniard after being part of the team for 4 years.

As part of the final farewell, Ferrari brought out two 2022 F1-75 racing cars and allowed Sainz Jr to share the brand's private Fiorano circuit with his father. Both Carlos Sainz Sr. and Sainz Jr. took to the track together to complete a few laps. Ferrari even let Sainz Sr. go on the track alone to warm up before his son joined him on the circuit. Ferrari stated, "Although he spun the car, Senior soon found his rhythm, completing several runs doing consistent lap times."

The father-son duo were even handed over the keys to the 735 LM which drove in the Mille Miglia and was built in 1955.

Carlos Sainz Jr. will be replaced by 7-time world driver's champion Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari from the 2025 season. He will race alongside Charles Leclerc.
