Checked out 2023 Gixxer SF 250 & 150 at a showroom: First impressions

The red Suzuki logo is replaced with a silver one. This I liked!

BHPian neil.jericho recently shared this with other enthusiasts,

While at a Suzuki dealership, I got a chance to check out the updated Gixxer SF 250 and 150. The price of the new Gixxer SF 250 has jumped to Rs 2.8L on road Kerala! This pricing will make freshly registered units of what is already a low selling motorcycle, even more hard to spot on our roads. If nothing else, it will drive up the prices of preowned 250s in the market. Thank you, Suzuki!

Of the 250s, only the Metallic Matte Black No 2 and Metallic Sonic Silver / Metallic Triton Blue were on display. The latter is a a tweaked version of the 100th Anniversary edition paint scheme but it does look rather aftermarketish, and not in the best way. The third paint scheme is the Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, which is taken from the Katana.

The black accents just don't do it for me. The front mudguard went from silver to black.

The side panel is glossy black, instead of matte black. The 250 on the rear panel is now in red, instead of blue. The belly pan is black, instead of blue.

The new bikes get a cheesy Ride Connect Edition sticker.

The Metallic Triton Blue Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 is alongside it.
