In my opinion, for 14-15 lakhs this is damn good value. Realistic range should be 250+ kms.

Saw the Windsor EV today. Some points I noted:
- Headlights: High beam and Low beam is controlled from the right side stalk. Just like a regular car. No issues there.
- Screen: The big screen in the top model is a distraction. Especially as it's on the slower side. I am sure, using this slow screen while driving will be arduous .
- Perceived quality: It is genuinely nice to be sat inside it. Outside look is also pretty modern. Seems like one of those robotic cars of the future.
- Showroom experience: As always, showroom experience at MG is excellent.
- Panaromic roof: When you park your car under a tree to get respite from the sun, you get crow, pigeon, or other bird droppings. So you open the headliner to get the light in and what do you see? So, basically, high maintenance. From this point of view mid model without sunroof is better.
- Base model: Has smaller screen which should be less distracting but has no camera. Aftermarket camera would probably void the warranty.
- Ingress: Had to literally lift my leg quite a bit to get in. Elderly may have difficulty getting in. Or else, get in by sitting first and then putting the legs in. Didn't try this method though.
- BAAS: Salesman suggested that if you are going for an 7 year loan, it is better to directly buy the car. He said, 95% pre bookings are without BAAS.

But imagine if they brought Windsor EV into a Windsor petrol. Should be 10-12 lakhs. Just like MG Astor.
That would be killer value. Why didn't MG think about it already? Or has it!
Oh yeah, the automatic door handles are only on the top spec. Bummer!
