Citroen C5 Aircross launched at Rs. 29.90 lakh

The C5 Aircross is available in two variants - Feel and Shine. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 174 BHP and 400 Nm.

Citroen has announced the prices for the C5 Aircross. The SUV is being offered in two variants - Feel and Shine, with prices starting at Rs. 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The C5 Aircross is based on the PSA EMP2 platform. It measures 4,500 mm in length, 2,099 mm in width, 1,710 mm in height and its wheelbase is 2,730 mm. The car's boot capacity is 580 litres, which can be expanded to 1,630 litres by folding the rear seats down.

The SUV comes equipped with LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. On the inside, the C5 Aircross gets features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6-speaker audio system, Comfort Seats, electrically adjustable driver seat, 2-zone automatic climate control and panoramic sunroof, among others.

C5 Aircross engine & transmission:

The C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 174 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 400 Nm @ 2,000 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Citroen claims a fuel economy figure of 18.6 km/l. The SUV rides on Citroen's Progressive Hydraulic Cushions suspension.
