Citroen C5 Aircross prices hiked by up to Rs. 1.4 lakh

Citroen has increased the prices of the top-spec 'Shine' variant by Rs. 90,000.

Citroen India has revised the prices of the C5 Aircross SUV by up to Rs. 1.4 lakh.

The C5 Aircross is available in two trims - Feel and Shine, with an optional dual-tone exterior. Prices of the base 'Feel' variant have been increased by Rs. 1.4 lakh, while the 'Shine' variant costs Rs. 90,000 more.

Citroen made its debut in the Indian market with the C5 Aircross in April this year. The SUV is based on the EMP2 platform and comes equipped with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions.

The C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0-litre, diesel engine that produces 175 BHP and 400 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The carmaker is now gearing up to launch a small crossover called the Citroen C3 in India.
