Coronavirus: 2020 Geneva Motor Show cancelled

The 90th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, scheduled to be held between March 5, 2020 and March 15, 2020, has been cancelled.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country, the Government of Switzerland has implemented a ban on large scale events with more than 1,000 people. The ban comes into effect immediately and will apply till at least March 15, 2020. According to the organisers, due to the size of the show, it cannot be postponed.

The Geneva Motor Show is one of the biggest car expos in the world and is held in the month of March every year. Many manufacturers launch new cars at the show. Concept cars are unveiled at the event as well.
