Covid-19: Hyundai India orders testing kits from South Korea

Hyundai has placed an order for Covid-19 Advanced Diagnostic Testing Kits from South Korea.

According to the company, these testing kits have a high level of accuracy and can test 25,000 samples. The kits will be distributed to hospitals in affected areas by consulting with the central and state governments.

Hyundai is monitoring the situation and will support the Indian government with CSR initiatives like this to help the country in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier, the Government of India had reportedly reached out to automakers for assistance. Responding to the government's call, some have pledged monitory aid, while others will be manufacturing ventilators.
