Datsun announces festive season benefits on the GO

In wake of the festive season, Datsun has announced benefits of up to Rs. 38,000 for customers of the GO hatchback. These benefits will be offered till 31st October 2014. They include and exchange bonus of up to Rs. 20,000, insurance support worth Rs. 4,000 and free extended warranty worth Rs. 4,000. Additionally, a discount of INR 10,000 is being offered on D, D1 & A variants of the car.

When the Datsun GO was launched in India earlier this year, it was expected to take the fight to the Maruti Suzuki Alto and Hyundai Eon. However, the car has not managed to sell in the numbers its manufacturer would have hoped for. Over the past three months, Datsun has managed to move, on average, only about 1,000 units of the GO per month. That is just a fraction of what its competitors manage. With the benefits on offer, Datsun will hope that the GO manages to attract some more customers.
