Datsun GO, GO+ facelift revealed. Bookings open

Datsun has revealed the facelifted versions of the GO and GO+. It has also started accepting bookings for these cars. The booking amount has been pegged at Rs. 11,000 and deliveries are scheduled to commence from October 10, 2018.

The new Dastun GO and GO+ get a redesigned front grille with a new mesh design and chrome border. The cars feature updated headlamp clusters and a new front bumper with vertical LED DRLs. Higher variants of both models are expected to come with dual-tone 5-spoke alloy wheels. On the inside, the refreshed cars are expected to get an updated dashboard with a touchscreen infotainment system and a new instrument cluster.

The new Datsun GO and GO+ will be offered in five variants. The cars will be available in two new colour options called Amber Orange and Sunstone Brown.

Mechanically, both the new GO and GO+ are likely to be identical to the outgoing models. At present, the cars are offered with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 67 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. This unit is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
