Designer Pratap Bose quits Tata Motors

Martin Uhlarik has been appointed as the Global Design Head of Tata Motors.

Pratap Bose, Vice-President, Global Design of Tata Motors has resigned.

Having served in Tata Motors for the last 14 years, Bose has decided to seek new opportunities. He had been instrumental in changing the brand perception of Tata Motors, following the introduction of the 'Impact' Design philosophy. Designs of the Harrier, Safari, Nexon, Tigor and Tiago have now been updated based on the second generation of this design language.

Bose will be replaced by Martin Uhlarik, who was till recently the Head of Design for Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC). He joined Tata Motors in 2016 as Head of Design, UK.

Earlier this year, Bose was nominated for the World Car Person of the Year 2021 award.
