Ducati Diavel 1260 launched in India at Rs. 17.20 lakh

Ducati India has launched the Diavel 1260 and 1260 S at a price of Rs. 17.70 lakh and Rs. 19.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively.

The Ducati Diavel measures 2,240 mm long, 860 mm wide and has a seat height of 780 mm. The wheelbase is 1,600 mm and the fuel tank capacity is 17 liters.

The Diavel gets an exposed trellis frame, matte black colour scheme, single piece seat and a single sided rear swing arm. It also gets an LED headlamp and tail lights as well as a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster. The bike is offered with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres measuring 120/70 ZR17 and 240/45 ZR17 at the front and rear respectively.

Both the 1260 and 1260 S are powered by a 1,262cc L-twin engine developing 157 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. Power is sent via a 6-speed gearbox. Both variants get twin 320 mm disc brakes at the front and a 265 mm disc at the rear. Compared to the 1260, the 1260 S gets 48 mm adjustable Ohlins front forks, Ducati quickshift up/ down and Brembo monobloc 5-piston M50 calipers at the front.

Features like riding modes, power modes, Cornering ABS, cruise control, traction control and wheelie control are standard. The company offers a 2 year / unlimited km warranty on the bikes.
