Ducati Hypermotard 950 launched at Rs. 11.99 lakh

Ducati has launched the Hypermotard 950 priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Hypermotard 950 is based on a tubular steel trellis frame. It has a wheelbase of 1,493 mm and the seat height is 870 mm. It has a prominent beak and a U-shaped headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights, a flat seat and twin-underseat exhausts. It also has a a small fairing, which houses a 4.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The Hypermotard 950 is powered by a 937cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 112 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm of torque @ 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and the bike comes with a hydraulic slipper clutch.

The Hypermotard 950 has a 45 mm adjustable Marzocchi suspension at the front and an adjustable Sachs monoshock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Stopping power comes from twin 320 mm disc brakes with 4-piston Brembo calipers at the front and a single 245 mm disc at the rear with a 2-piston caliper.

Other features include Bosch Cornering ABS, riding modes, Ducati traction control EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO and a provision for the Ducati Multimedia System.
