Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak priced at Rs. 21.42 lakh

Ducati India has opened bookings for the Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak. It is priced at Rs. 21.42 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and will be available in limited numbers.

The Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak is based on the recently launched Multistrada 1260 S. It is inspired by the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race held in Colorado, USA. The Pikes Peak version looks similar to the 1260 S, except for a dual-tone livery, low-racing type front screen, red chassis and forged lighter aluminium wheels finished in black. The front screen, front mud guard, hands free cover, front side panels are all made using carbon fiber. The seat gets red contrast stitching.

The 1260 Pikes Peak is powered by a 1,262 cc, L-twin cylinder engine which produces 156 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 129.5 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The bike comes with Ride-by-Wire and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS). Braking is handled by twin-320 mm semi-floating discs with Brembo 4-piston calipers at the front and a 265 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper at the rear, while Bosch Cornering ABS comes as standard. It comes with a Termignoni carbon fiber silencer.

Other features include Riding Modes, cruise control, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), LED headlights with cornering lights, Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster.
