Electra EV gifts Ratan Tata an electric Nano

The Nano Electric by Electra EV offers a maximum range of 160 km.

Electra EV - a maker of electric powertrains, has gifted an electric Nano to Mr. Ratan Tata.

The Nano EV has been custom-built by the company. It is based on a 72V architecture. The car uses super polymer lithium-ion batteries that are said to offer a maximum range of 160 km on a single charge. The company claims that the Nano EV takes less than 10 seconds to reach 60 km/h.

Tata Motors' electric vehicle portfolio includes the Nexon EV and the Tigor EV. The former is one of the most popular EVs in India. The company is now working on a long-range version of the electric crossover, which could be launched later this year.
