Euro JK series gets its first female Indian driver- Mira Erda

Mira Erda has become the first female Indian driver to sign up for the Euro JK Series in the upcoming JK Tyre-FMSCI National Racing Championship. She will be driving the BMW FB02 in the Euro JK Series, which is considered to be one of the highest classes of Formula Racing in India.

Mira, who hails from Vadodara, started her career as one of the youngest drivers in national karting. She was competing in the LGB Formula 4 series till last year. Mira has won the Formula 4 Rookie Champion of the Year award from FMSCI. She has participated in around 75 races, in international as well as national levels.

In addition to the JK Series, the 17-year-old will also be participating in various national rallies and international karting competitions during this season. Mira is also preparing for her twelfth class boards this year.
