EV charger spotted at Tata Motors dealership

An EV charger has been spotted at one of the KHT dealerships (Tata Motors authorised dealer) in Bangalore.

Tata Motors has partnered with Tata Power to set up 300 public fast-charging stations for EVs in 5 cities by the end of FY2020. In addition to Bangalore, the carmaker is also installing EV charging points in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad.

The first 50 chargers will adhere to the Bharat Standard (15 kW). The company also plans to set up 30-50 kW DC chargers based on CCS2 standards.
