Ferrari beats Stellantis to become 8th most valuable car brand

Tesla is rated as the most valuable car company by market capitalisation. It is followed by Toyota & Porsche.

Italian supercar brand Ferrari is now said to have become the eighth most valuable car company in the world by market capitalisation.

According to reports, Ferrari, which built fewer than 14,000 cars in 2022, beat Stellantis - a conglomerate comprising 14 car companies, which produced an estimated 8 million cars last year. Some of the popular brands owned by Stellantis include Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Jeep, Peugeot, Ram and Vauxhall, to name a few.

Apart from Stellantis, Ferrari is also ahead of Ford, Honda, General Motors and Hyundai.

Reports state that the US EV brand Tesla is rated as the most valuable car company by market capitalisation. It is followed by Toyota in second place with Porsche in third. Other companies which are positioned higher than Ferrari include Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, BMW and BYD.
