The source said that low market interest would give Ferrari more time to further develop in-house technology for its second electric vehicle.
Coming to Ferrari’s rivals, Lamborghini will launch its first EV in 2029, while Porsche has cut back on its EV ambitions due to soft sales of its electric vehicles like the Macan EV and Taycan. Maserati has also cancelled plans for an electric MC20.
