Ferrari's new climate control system features thermal cameras

It is also said to be capable of making a note of the passenger's gender, body shape and clothing.

Ferrari is said to have patented a new advanced climate control system, which could be introduced on the brand's future models.

According to a media report, the new climate control system from Ferrari features a thermal camera capable of detecting the body temperature of its passengers as well as the temperature at different parts of the cabin. It is also said to be capable of making a note of the passenger's gender, body shape and clothing.

Using the data gathered, the advanced climate control system will then automatically decide and adjust the best temperature, airflow direction and circulation for the air coming out of the vents.

Reports also suggest that considering the patent image showcases an SUV-like shape with a four-seater configuration, the new climate control system could debut on the brand's upcoming Purosangue SUV.
