First Hero-Harley co-developed bike to debut in 2024

The Hero-Harley middleweight bike is said to be in the advanced stages of development.

Hero MotoCorp and America’s Harley-Davidson have partnered to develop a range of premium motorcycles. It is said that their first co-developed bike could debut by the end of March 2024.

Niranjan Gupta, CFO of Hero MotoCorp, has stated that the company would launch premium bikes, as well as a new platform that’s being developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson over the next 2-years.

Reports also suggest that the Hero-Harley bike is in the advanced stages of development. The first model is likely to be positioned in the middleweight segment and could compete with Royal Enfield. Technical details of the new model are still under wraps.

In India, Harley-Davidson’s sales and service operations are being handled by Hero MotoCorp. The new middleweight range of bikes is likely to be sold through the former’s retail channels.
