First pics of the next-gen Mahindra Scorpio's interior

The interior of the next generation Mahindra Scorpio (codenamed: Z101) has been spied for the first time. The latest spy image reveals the SUV's new dashboard.

According to the spy image, the new Scorpio is likely to get a new dashboard design featuring vertical air-conditioning vents and a provision for a touchscreen infotainment system in the centre console. It is likely to receive a new steering wheel, revised instrument cluster and new switchgear.

The new Scorpio is expected to be based on a ladder frame chassis. From the outside, it looks larger than the outgoing model. The SUV is expected to get a new grille with vertical slats and wraparound tail lights.

Reports suggest that the next generation Scorpio could be offered with a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine with an output of 158 BHP. It could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Four wheel drive is likely to be offered as an option.
