Force Gurkha pickup truck unveiled in Indonesia

Republik Motor also showcased the Ksatria SUV, a rebadged version of the Gurkha 5-door.

Indonesia-based Republik Motor has showcased a dual-cab pickup truck based on the Force Gurkha at the Indo Defence Expo and Forum.

The pickup truck appears to be based on the 5-door version of the off-roader. It will be offered to government agencies, which explains the rocket launcher mounted in the cargo bed. However, reports suggest that a civilian version of the pickup truck will be available in the future.

Republik Motor also showcased the Ksatria SUV, a rebadged version of the Gurkha 5-door. It has a dual-tone interior with a 6-seat configuration.

The SUV is said to be powered by the same 2.6-litre diesel engine that is offered in India. This Mercedes-Benz sourced motor develops 90 BHP and 250 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It also comes with low range and a four-wheel drive system with differential locks on all four wheels.
