Force Trax with 7 doors spotted testing

Force Motors appears to be gearing up to add a seven-door version of the Trax to its portfolio. The vehicle is believed to be undergoing homologation and was spotted testing.

The Trax is a rugged MUV that competes against the Mahindra Bolero and Tata Sumo. It is available in various lengths and seating configurations. These include the Gama, Toofan and Cruiser. The vehicle is also available as an ambulance, delivery van and pick-up truck. Rural markets account for most of the Trax's sales. These are powered by a 2.6-litre, diesel engine that puts out 60 bhp and 158 Nm of torque. The 7-door version is likely to be powered by the same unit.

Force Motors also sells a short wheelbase version of the Trax called the Gurkha. It is powered by a 2.6-litre, diesel engine that produces 80 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. This vehicle is aimed at private owners, mainly off-roading enthusiasts.
