Ford Endeavour facelift spotted in India

The upcoming Ford Endeavour facelift has been caught testing in India for the first time.

The updated Endeavour has already been launched in the international market. Spy images indicate that the Indian version is likely to receive similar cosmetic updates. It has a new chrome grille flanked by projector headlamps with integrated L-shaped LED DRLs. The front bumper has a silver insert which houses a set of fog lamps. The rear end looks similar to the current model.

The new Endeavour is expected to get updated interiors with a new touchscreen infotainment system equipped with SYNC3, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well as navigation. It could also be offered with features like passive keyless entry and engine start/stop button.

In the international market, the new model comes with twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder and 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder diesel engine options. India is expected to get engines that meet BS-VI emission norms.

The Endeavour facelift is expected to be launched sometime in 2019 and it will compete with the Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra's upcoming Alturas G4.
