Ford Figo Aspire, hatchback to get different interiors

The next-generation Ford Figo hatchback and compact sedan (Aspire) will be launched in India later this year. Both cars are undergoing tests on Indian roads at present and have been spied on several occasions. The latest series of spy images suggest that the two cars could get different interiors.

While the Figo hatchback gets a black dashboard, the Aspire sedan gets a beige unit. Both cars get vertical air conditioner vents and share the same steering wheel, which has borrowed from the EcoSport and Fiesta.

The Figo twins are likely to be powered by new 4-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. A naturally aspirated version of the 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine could also be used.

The Ford Figo hatchback and compact sedan are expected to replace the current Figo hatchback and Classic sedan respectively. Both cars will be manufactured at Ford's new plant, located at Sanand in Gujarat.
