Ford India head Anurag Mehrotra to step down on September 30

This comes just days after Ford announced that it would stop manufacturing the Figo, Aspire, Freestyle, EcoSport and Endeavour in India.

According to a media report, Anurag Mehrotra, President & Managing Director, Ford India, will stepped down on September 30, 2021. It comes just days after the company announced its "restructuring" plans for India.

Mehrotra has spent over a decade with Ford India across multiple roles, including marketing and sales, before being appointed for the top job. Balasundaram Radhakrishnan, Director of Manufacturing, will now oversee the restructuring of the company.

Earlier this month, Ford announced that it would stop manufacturing vehicles in India. However, the carmaker has confirmed that it will continue to serve existing customers with service, aftermarket parts and warranty coverage.
