Future Hyundai EVs could look cool

Hyundai has unveiled the Prophecy concept electric car. It showcases the design language that could be used in upcoming Hyundai electric cars.

The Prophecy uses a new type of lighting technology. The headlights, tail lights and the spoiler come with pixelated lamps, which Hyundai says will be used in future production models. The pixel lights depict the energy stored in the car's battery pack.

The use of an electric architecture could result in more space on the inside in future EVs. Instead of a steering wheel, the Prophecy has two joysticks, one on the centre console and one on the door trim. The car has a pillar-to-pillar display and also comes with a camera monitoring system (CMS).
