Got my Tata Altroz turbo petrol Code6 tuned: Lot more fun to drive now

I am also planning to get bigger discs which come in the Altroz diesel, CNG and the latest Altroz Racer model.

BHPian SavoyWalrus recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Finally bit the bug and got my car remapped.

Got the Code6 remap done at Carmed Bangalore, and the car's performance has changed quite drastically. Low-end torque has increased, the car doesn't lag lower down the rev range and is super responsive. There's a bit of lurch between 1000 and 1200 rpm, which is a bit annoying at lower speeds. But, that, I guess, is the characteristic of the engine.

It's a lot more fun time to drive now and hits triple-digit speeds in a quick time.

Also got the K&N panel filter and a quick service after hitting the 20k mark on the odo. Been a niggle-free ownership experience so far *fingers crossed* in my two-and-a-half years of owning it.

I am also looking to get the bigger discs for the Altroz (which is present on the Diesel, CNG, and Racer). Sourcing it has been a pain. Boodmo has it but had to cancel as there was no movement in the procurement process. Have to hit up some Tata service centers to buy them.

Also, looking if the Racer's front springs (available on Boodmo but long wait period) will make a change to the car (only the front springs are different from the other variants of the Altroz; the rears are the same).
